How to choose a fan

Match the size, decide on a light, and pick how you'll control it.

Up to ~1100mm for small rooms, 1200–1300mm (48–52 inch) for most bedrooms and lounges, and 1400mm+ for large or open-plan spaces.

Many ceiling fans include an integrated LED (often 3CCT / dimmable) — ideal where one fitting must light and cool. Use the "With light" filter.

Remote, wall control or pull chain — remote is the most convenient. Rechargeable models keep you cool through load-shedding.

What size fan do I need?

Are they remote-controlled?

Do you have rechargeable fans for load-shedding?

Yes — rechargeable and USB or solar portable fans keep you cool when the power is out.

How noisy are they?

DC-motor fans are the quietest; blade count and speed also matter. Each product's details note the motor type.
