Description
The Brightstar DL028 is a white die-cast aluminium recessed downlighter for 12V 50W MR16 halogen or MR16 LED lamps, providing a classic residential recessed ceiling downlight in a die-cast aluminium trim body suited to bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, and hallways where 12V MR16 recessed downlighting is specified in new or existing 12V transformer downlight ceiling installations. The DL028 is a standard 12V MR16 downlighter body suited to retrofit and new-installation recessed ceiling downlight applications in existing 12V downlight systems that use electronic or magnetic 12V transformers, including retrofit upgrades where the existing MR16 halogen lamps are being replaced with energy-efficient MR16 LED retrofit lamps while retaining the existing downlighter bodies and transformers. The die-cast aluminium trim provides a durable, quality downlighter trim body in a white finish that blends with white plasterboard and plaster ceilings. The standard MR16 GU5.3 lamp holder accepts both 12V 50W MR16 halogen lamps and 12V MR16 LED retrofit lamps for energy-efficient conversion.
