Description
The Brightstar L223 is an IP43-rated black die-cast aluminium down-facing outdoor lantern with a single 1×60W E27 Edison Screw lamp holder, providing classic exterior lantern illumination in a down-facing orientation suited to residential and commercial building entrance walls, garden gate pillars, covered patio walls, and outdoor wall lantern positions. The L223 is a different lantern body style from the L212/L213/L203 lantern family, offering an alternative die-cast aluminium down-facing lantern option in the Brightstar range for greater entrance and garden lantern design variety. The down-facing orientation directs the E27 lamp light downward from the lantern body, focusing entrance path and gate approach illumination below the lantern mounting position. The IP43 rating provides protection against solid objects over 1mm and water spraying at up to 60° from vertical, suitable for sheltered wall lantern positions in covered entrance areas and covered patio walls. The die-cast aluminium construction provides robust outdoor durability in a classic black powder-coat finish. E27 lamp holder accepts standard E27 globes and decorative lamps.
