Description
The Brightstar ESW043 is a white push dimming switch on a 2×4 plate, providing wall-mounted light dimming control for compatible dimmable LED, incandescent, and halogen light fittings in residential living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms, and entrance halls where variable ambient light intensity control is required from a standard 2×4 wall plate position. The push dimming switch uses a push-to-dim or push-to-brighten control mechanism, allowing the light level to be stepped or gradually adjusted between minimum and maximum output by pressing the switch button, with the current dimmer level retained when the light is switched off and back on again. The ESW043 is compatible with dimmable load types including dimmable LED, incandescent, and low-voltage halogen loads (check load compatibility for specific LED driver types). The white 2×4 plate coordinates with the ESW-White switch and socket series for consistent white wall plate installations throughout the room. The 2×4 plate fits standard South African single-gang residential backboxes.
